Mr. Thomas McLain passed away Thursday , February 15, 2018 at the age of 89.
Thomas was born August 16, 1928 to James and Mable McLain in Waynesboro, MS. Thomas joined the United States Air Force retiring in 1968 after 20 years of service. He then went to work at Ingalls Shipbuilding retiring in 1991. He worked as a volunteer for Keesler Medical Center for 26 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church serving as a lifetime deacon and choir member for many years. Despite his loyalty to his country and giving heart as a volunteer he made time to be a loving husband, father and grandfather. He and Kathy Morris McLain were married for over 66 years and raised two wonderful daughters, Cynthia and Phyllis. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, James David and Verlene Bratrud.

Tom is survived by his wife, Kathy McLain; daughters, Cynthia (Larry) Wilson and Phyllis Holder all of Pascagoula, MS; two grandchildren, Amber (Bo) Hunt and Kendall Holder.

Funeral Service will be at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS.
Pallbearers for Mr. McLain will be T. Larry Wilson, Bo Hunt, Ben Carr, Joel Simpson, Zack Hartman, Clifton Anderson, and Joshua Anderson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be deacons of First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 11:00-12:30 with service to follow at 12:30 pm in the chapel. Interment with full military honors will conclude at Biloxi National Cemetery 2:30pm. Condolences may be expressed online at
